Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Aims (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evan Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gary Aims!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Evan Thomas!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Edson Gomes and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas throws the left hand but Aims avoids the punch easily.
Aims definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Thomas throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Aims counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Evan Thomas has been cut.
Thomas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Aims tries to avoid it but Thomas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Aims to the ground. Aims escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Aims cracks Thomas with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Aims throws a hook to the side of Thomas's head but Thomas sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Aims feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Thomas sprawling to the canvas! Thomas rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Aims finish him?!

Thomas is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Aims throws an uppercut from hell that sends Thomas clean off his feet! He's out cold! Aims stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
