Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Conor McGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guilhaume Prevot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGregor comes to the ring accompanied by The Foggy Dew / El Chapo. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Conor McGregor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Guilhaume Prevot! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Steve Montenegro and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McGregor dodges the punch combination from Prevot.
Prevot darts in looking for a takedown but McGregor gets double underhooks and turns Prevot into the ropes. Prevot takes a body punch but keeps moving. Prevot tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. McGregor manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. McGregor is looking to counter punch. No luck for Prevot with that takedown attempt. McGregor works Prevot's body with a nice hook. Prevot wants to clinch and McGregor counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Prevot throws a body shot but no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Prevot throws a series of punches but McGregor moves out of range. McGregor lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Prevot fails in his attempt to clinch. Prevot throws a nice looking combination but McGregor bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McGregor connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Nice uppercut lands for McGregor. That snapped Prevot's head back.
That's one minute gone in the round. McGregor lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Guilhaume Prevot has been cut. McGregor bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Prevot's head. McGregor clobbers Prevot with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. McGregor thuds his right hand into Prevot's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. McGregor lands a jab to the nose. McGregor connects with a right hand. Prevot shakes it off. McGregor has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Prevot takes one to the side of the head.
Prevot takes a body punch but keeps moving. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McGregor with a jab. Prevot wants to clinch up but McGregor keeps it at a distance. Prevot thows a left - swing and a miss! Prevot throws a sloppy head kick and McGregor moves out of range easily. Prevot takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Oooooh!!! McGregor has knocked Prevot down with a huge combo! McGregor steps away and waves a wobbly Prevot back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Prevot is rocked! McGregor is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. McGregor with a body punch. A glancing blow. Prevot is still on wobbly legs! Can McGregor finish him? Prevot wants to clinch up but McGregor keeps it at a distance. Prevot seems to have recovered his senses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Prevot drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. McGregor scores with a decent looking hook. A swing and a miss from Prevot. Conor McGregor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jab from McGregor. McGregor is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Prevot shoots in looking for a takedown but McGregor manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Prevot's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Conor McGregor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Guilhaume Prevot. The fight stays on the outside here - Prevot looks like he's thinking about clinching though. McGregor is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Prevot tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. McGregor sizes up Prevot with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Prevot takes a body punch but keeps moving. McGregor lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. McGregor with a body punch. A glancing blow. Prevot looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Prevot looks winded! McGregor throws a shot to the body.
McGregor lands with a nice combination. Prevot backs away looking to recover. Good shot there by McGregor.
That has opened up Guilhaume Prevot's cut even more.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McGregor scores with a nice strike. McGregor with a body punch. A glancing blow. McGregor keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Some wild striking there from Prevot.
Prevot has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Nice cross by McGregor. McGregor dips down and scores with a jab to the body. McGregor bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Prevot's head backwards. McGregor takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Prevot pulls out of a head kick attempt.
No joy there for Prevot, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McGregor lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Prevot backs up against the ropes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Prevot walks into a left hand. McGregor cracks Prevot with a good jab. Conor McGregor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McGregor lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The cut above Guilhaume Prevot's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Prevot walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. McGregor is working the combinations to good effect here. Prevot gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! McGregor gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Prevot is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Conor McGregor! Conor McGregor gave a mention to EVOLUTION Clothing in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
