Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matvei Polzin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Polzin's entrance music is Beast . A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matvei Polzin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Frost! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Reed Andrews and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frost stuffs the takedown attempt from Polzin. Polzin gets slowly back to his feet. Frost defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Polzin. Polzin looks to throw the jab but Frost is out of range. A nice combination there by Polzin.
It looks like Chris Frost has been cut. Polzin misses with a few strikes there.
Polzin throws a series of punches but Frost avoids them all with ease. Polzin clinches. Frost manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Frost has his foot on Polzin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Polzin works his way back into a safe position though. Frost is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Polzin defends well. Polzin trying to control but Frost is working from the bottom. Polzin looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Polzin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Polzin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Polzin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Frost has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Polzin has managed to get both his arms back between Frost's legs - danger averted. Polzin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Polzin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. That's two minutes gone in the round. Frost throwing rabbit punches from the bottom - showing the judges that he's keeping busy. Frost keeping moving, preventing Polzin from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Frost is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Polzin is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Polzin passes Frost's left leg - he's now in half guard. Frost is trying to get back to full guard. Polzin is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Polzin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Frost doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Polzin. Polzin trying to control from half guard but Frost is working away. Polzin has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Frost wants to control but Polzin is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Frost is in all sorts of trouble here.
Frost regains half guard. Frost looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Polzin seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Frost won't allow Polzin to pass to mount. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Polzin tries to pass the half guard into mount. Frost knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Frost is trying to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matvei Polzin dominated that round. The cut man is working on Chris Frost's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Polzin shoots in for a takedown but Frost shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Polzin fails to land with a series of punches.

Polzin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Frost pinned against the cage. Frost gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Frost doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Polzin takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Polzin is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Frost can do to turn this around? We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Polzin misses with a double jab.
A nice side step and Frost releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Polzin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Polzin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Frost as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matvei Polzin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Polzin slips a straight right by Frost. Polzin dives in and scores a takedown into Frost's guard. Frost is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Polzin is controlling him. Frost is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Frost has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Polzin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Polzin wants to control from the top but Frost keeps moving. Matvei Polzin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Frost is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Polzin has his hands clasped together but Frost extends and breaks Polzin's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Frost.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Chris Frost! The defeated Matvei Polzin had this to say: 'Opponent was strong today, yes? But next time I will be stronger. Who is next?'.
