The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Westbrook is defended easily by Levasseur.
Westbrook throws a hook but Levasseur blocks it.
Levasseur half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Westbrook is looking to clinch.
Some wild striking there from Levasseur.
Levasseur gets the takedown into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Levasseur prevents Westbrook from escaping the position.
We've been hearing good reports from Levasseur's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Levasseur is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Westbrook has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Levasseur looks up at the clock and then as Westbrook takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Levasseur smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Levasseur is looking to take a break and control but Westbrook is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Levasseur has hold of Westbrook's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Westbrook tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Levasseur cranks the arm and Westbrook screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Westbrook, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

A relieved looking Olivier Levasseur thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
