The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Cracker tries to close the distance and clinch but Maint swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The Cracker shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Maint as he avoids it easily.
A combination from The Cracker does no damage.

The Cracker shoots in for a double leg but Maint sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A jab from Maint does it's job there.

Chris Maint has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wesdley The Cracker.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The Cracker is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Maint moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
