Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Lewis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Plaid Shaw! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lewis circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lewis throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Lewis fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Shaw to the ground. Lewis is now in Shaw's guard. Lewis trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Lewis throws a big elbow that misses. Shaw is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Lewis forces his way into half guard. Lewis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lewis prevents Shaw from improving his position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lewis is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Lewis looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Shaw really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lewis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lewis wants to stand up but Shaw has a hold of him and won't allow it. Lewis is looking to take a break and control but Shaw is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Shaw tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Shaw on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Lewis tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Lewis is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Lewis seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Shaw is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
