Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Seun Adedji! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ned Nedeltsev! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nedeltsev dives in for a single leg takedown but Adedji sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes. Nedeltsev misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Adedji.
Adedji has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Adedji has closed the distance and engaged Nedeltsev in a clinch.
Adedji creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Nedeltsev's defenses.
It looks like Ned Nedeltsev has been cut. Nedeltsev is trying to break free. Nedeltsev misses with a punch on the inside.

A battle for position here, against the ropes. Adedji lands an elbow just above Nedeltsev 's eye. Nedeltsev wants to break the clinch but can't.

Adedji pushes Nedeltsev back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nedeltsev has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Adedji after a bit of a struggle. Adedji blocks a body shot from Nedeltsev. Adedji unloads a knee to the mid-section. Knees to the body from Adedji.

That's one minute gone in the round. Adedji holding his opponent close, against the ropes.
Adedji lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Adedji lands a nice elbow. Nedeltsev takes a shot to the head. A short right hand to the side of the head by Adedji. Nedeltsev tries for a takedown but Adedji manages to get underhooks.
Seun Adedji has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ned Nedeltsev. Adedji landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

That has opened up Ned Nedeltsev's cut even more. Adedji lands an elbow inside that Nedeltsev shrugs off. Adedji with a knee to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Adedji lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Nedeltsev is rocked! Adedji lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Nedeltsev is still on wobbly legs! Can Adedji finish him? Adedji lands an elbow inside. Adedji comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
The cut above Ned Nedeltsev's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Adedji lands a left hand that snaps the head of Nedeltsev backwards. Adedji drops Nedeltsev with a big knee straight up the middle! Nedeltsev is covering up against the ropes but manages to escape and gets back to his feet! Adedji tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nedeltsev swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A jab from Nedeltsev misses. Nedeltsev fails to land the takedown. Nedeltsev with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Adedji to score with a decent uppercut. Nedeltsev seems to have recovered his senses. Nedeltsev goes for a double leg but Adedji avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Adedji continues to drive forward. Nedeltsev misses with a takedown attempt and Adedji counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Adedji. Adedji lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Adedji lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Adedji putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Nedeltsev in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Adedji lands an elbow that stopped Nedeltsev in his tracks for a moment.
Ned Nedeltsev's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ned Nedeltsev's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Seun Adedji!
