Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Gragula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Degrizz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Degrizz is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Battle in prison. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gragula tries for a takedown but Degrizz circles away easily
and Degrizz counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Degrizz throws a combination. Gragula tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Gragula tries to clinch but Degrizz moves out of range.
No luck for Gragula with that takedown attempt.
Gragula shoots in and drives through. Degrizz sprawls well.

Degrizz tries a quick counter leg kick but Gragula is wise to it.
Gragula has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Degrizz moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Gragula shoots in looking for a takedown but Degrizz manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gragula's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gragula drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Degrizz gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Degrizz gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Degrizz crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gragula - the referee stops the clock and Degrizz gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gragula. Degrizz manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

and Degrizz makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Gragula. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
