Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bee Jay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masa Wasa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wasa has chosen Welcome To The Jungle as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bee Jay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Masa Wasa! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wasa on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Jay keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wasa. A good leg kick by Jay. Jay tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Wasa digs a good body shot into Jay's ribs. Wasa chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jay can pounce on him.
Good leg kick by Jay there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Jay blocks a jab. Jay is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Wasa. Jay wants to slow Wasa down by chopping away at his legs. Wasa unleashes a big counter combination but Jay bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Wasa gets a double leg takedown into Jay's guard. Wasa looking to pass the guard. Jay working for a triangle but Wasa defends it easily.
Jay keeping moving, preventing Wasa from controlling successfully. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wasa pushes down on Jay's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wasa looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Wasa seems to be working for a kimura but Jay defends the submission attempt. Wasa wants to control but Jay is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Wasa is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Jay might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jay keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Wasa is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Jay has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Jay! Wasa manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jay manages to get himself to full guard.
Wasa is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Jay keeping moving, preventing Wasa from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wasa might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jay haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Jay had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wasa defends it easily. Jay keeping moving, preventing Wasa from controlling successfully. Jay is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wasa defends well. Jay is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jay looking for subs off his back but Wasa has passed one foot through into half guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Wasa goes for an armbar but Jay turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Jay. Wasa pushes a forearm under Jay's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Jay is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
