Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kenny Ramsey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Darren Martin!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramsey lands a right hook to the body.
Nice shot lands for Ramsey.
Martin misses with a jab, cross combination.
Martin shoots in but Ramsey avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Martin throws a body shot but no joy.
Ramsey stuffs the takedown.
Ramsey was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Ramsey lands a nice hook to Martin's body. Martin takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
No luck for Martin with that takedown attempt.

Ramsey stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ramsey wants it to stay on the feet.

Ramsey looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Ramsey bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Martin's head backwards.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Martin throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ramsey was covering up waiting for the punch and Martin finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Ramsey wants to get back to his feet but Martin is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Ramsey is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Martin can do to turn this around?

Martin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ramsey's waist but Ramsey gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Martin off to one side.

Martin takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Ramsey throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Despite the aggression on Martin's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Ramsey lands with a thumping leg kick.
Martin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ramsey tries to avoid it but Martin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ramsey to the ground. Ramsey escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ramsey uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Martin has time to react.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kenny Ramsey really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that FinnFighter Nutrition (Five 160Q supps!) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
