Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dustin Shaffer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nejc Majcen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Majcen misses with a series of wild punches.
Shaffer tries to counter by clinching up but Majcen breaks away and moves out of range.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Shaffer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Majcen sprawls well. Majcen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Shaffer gets slowly back to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dustin Shaffer.
I think Shaffer has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
