Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tantalus Flay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flay has chosen Outerspace- Revolution as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tantalus Flay!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Diaz throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Flay will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Diaz lands a jab to Flay's midsection.
Flay lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Flay has his takedown stuffed
and Flay takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Flay ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Diaz moves away.
Flay throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Diaz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Flay missing with a left hand there. Diaz was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Diaz is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A low kick from Flay misses
and Diaz counters with an inside leg kick.
Diaz on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Flay avoids the body shot from Diaz.

Flay is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Diaz.
Diaz swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Flay, as that shot connected.
Flay connects with a single shot there.

It looks like Nick Diaz has been cut.
Diaz throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Flay stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Flay swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Diaz moves out of range as Flay throws a body kick.
Diaz appears to be looking for a big counter.
Flay throws a hook to the side of Diaz's head but Diaz sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Diaz uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Flay.
Diaz looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Flay misses with a low kick.
Diaz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Flay with the counter takedown but Diaz avoids it easily.
Diaz shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Tantalus Flay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Flay pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Diaz takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Diaz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Flay manages to avoid it.
Diaz moves out of range of the strikes.
Diaz fires out a quick counter leg kick but Flay just manages to avoid it.
Flay looks to land a right hand but Diaz moved out of range.
Flay scores with a jab to the jaw.

Diaz is rocked!
Flay Throws a clean left jab. Flay Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Diaz's chin! Diaz crumbles to the ground and Flay follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Flay!
