Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Raiymbek Batyr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lou Nahtic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nahtic has chosen Sleeping My Day Away as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Raiymbek Batyr could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Lou Nahtic's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Raiymbek Batyr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lou Nahtic! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nahtic listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Nahtic misses with a double jab.
Batyr drops down looking for a counter takedown but Nahtic sprawls and moves away. Nahtic misses with a wild combination.
Nahtic pushes Batyr up against the cage in a clinch. Batyr is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Nahtic can't fight it off and eventually Batyr manages to take the fight to the floor. Nahtic looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Nahtic trying to keep a closed guard but Batyr is proving a slippery customer.
Batyr lands a couple of elbows. Batyr throwing strikes from guard but Nahtic blocks nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Batyr postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Nahtic is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Batyr drops back, looking for a kneebar! Nahtic looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Nahtic looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Nahtic!
That's one minute gone in the round. Batyr is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Nahtic has just dragged him back down to the mat. Batyr avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Nahtic. Nahtic tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Batyr is trying to stand back up. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Batyr ducks right into an uppercut from Nahtic. Nahtic dips to his left and cracks Batyr with an uppercut! Batyr gets tackled into the cage by Nahtic. Nahtic maintains the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nahtic blocks an elbow strike from Batyr.
Nahtic taking a breather. Nahtic is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Batyr fails to pull guard.

Batyr tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Nahtic just stands there and leans against the cage. Batyr is trying to pull guard but Nahtic turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raiymbek Batyr. That's going to take a lot out of him. Batyr jumps guard and drags Nahtic to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Nahtic stands up over Batyr, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Nahtic's corner is telling him to maintain position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nahtic throws a big elbow that misses. Batyr wriggles free and stands up. Nahtic wants to clinch up but Batyr keeps it at a distance. Nahtic tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Batyr paws at him with a jab and circles away. Batyr with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Nahtic to score with a decent uppercut. Nahtic moves into the clinch. Batyr tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A frustrated look appears on Nahtic's face as he tries to break the clinch. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Batyr tries to pull guard but Nahtic won't allow it.

An uppercut to the body lands inside from Nahtic. Nahtic breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lou Nahtic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nahtic defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Batyr. Nahtic appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Batyr tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nahtic sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Batyr somewhat. Batyr is looking to clinch. Nahtic's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Nahtic duly obliges. Nahtic listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Jab by Nahtic.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Batyr misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Batyr shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nahtic as he jumps to the side. Batyr gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Nahtic throws a head kick that misses. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nahtic feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Batyrs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Nahtic has managed to clinch.
Nahtic's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Nahtic swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Batyr wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Batyr walks forward, straight into a front kick from Nahtic. Batyr tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nahtic swivels and escapes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lou Nahtic dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Batyr has a takedown stuffed. The fighters circle momentarily. Nahtic darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Nahtic has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Batyr is landing a low percentage of strikes. Nahtic slaps away a takedown attempt from Batyr, before circling back to the center of the mat. Batyr shoots for a takedown but Nahtic saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raiymbek Batyr. That's going to take a lot out of him. Good leg kick by Nahtic there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Raiymbek Batyr is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A head kick by Nahtic misses enabling Batyr to counter with a crisp jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Batyr closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Nahtic to the mat! Nahtic manages to get full guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nahtic looking to control.
Batyr is in close to Nahtic's body, working some short punches and elbows. Nahtic lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Batyr is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Nahtic is controlling him.

He pushes Nahtic off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Nahtic clinches.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Batyr goes for a double leg but Nahtic avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Nahtic continues to drive forward. Batyr pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Nahtic cracks Batyr with a good jab. Nahtic throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Nahtic lands with a kick to the temple. Batyr shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Nahtic throws a series of strikes that have Batyr backpedaling.
Batyr is rocked! Nahtic rushes Batyr and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Oh Batyr is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Nahtic connects with a nasty looking knee right to Batyr's face.
Nahtic with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Batyr jumps guard and drags Nahtic to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Nahtic working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Batyr is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Nahtic is controlling him. Nahtic wants to control from the top but Batyr keeps moving. Nahtic has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Batyr is wriggling around but Nahtic manages to pass to half guard.
Nahtic not landing any meaningful shots this time. Batyr has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Nahtic is on him like a limpet, forcing Batyr back against the cage. Nahtic prevents a takedown attempt there.
Nahtic is struggling to control the position. Batyr is working for takedown but Nahtic is calmly controlling the position for now. Batyr misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Nahtic.
Batyr seems to have got his legs back now. Nahtic is trying to break free. Nahtic breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Nahtic fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Batyr on the side of the head. Batyr shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Nahtic sprawls well. Nahtic wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Batyr gets slowly back to his feet. Nahtic pushes Batyr up against the cage in a clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lou Nahtic showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Batyr has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Nahtic finds it's way round the side to connect with Batyr's head. Nahtic bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Batyr's head. Nahtic throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Lou Nahtic seems to be getting the better of the standup. Nahtic instigates a clinch. Batyr has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Nahtic uses from the top position. The fighters are working up against the cage. Batyr manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Nahtic pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Nahtic cracks Batyr with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Nahtic cracks the inside of Batyr's front leg. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nahtic lands a jab. Nahtic drops Batyr with a big left hand! Batyr is injured, injured bad! Nahtic jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
