Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Amon Amarth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and MAX CONDOR (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, MAX CONDOR! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Amarth misses the shot to the body. CONDOR gets caught flat footed, as Amarth shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. CONDOR thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. CONDOR is trying to control the position from the bottom.
CONDOR is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Amarth looking to sit in guard and control but CONDOR gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. CONDOR tries to free his leg and advance position but Amarth is retaining full guard. Amarth is striking from the bottom but CONDOR uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Amarth manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Amarth lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as CONDOR backs up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It looks like MAX CONDOR has been cut. Amarth drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. CONDOR wants to control but Amarth postures up. Amarth cracks CONDOR with an elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. CONDOR taking punishment in the form of punches.

Amarth looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks CONDOR with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Amarth drops an elbow to the side of CONDOR's head. CONDOR wants to improve his position but Amarth is controlling well.
CONDOR is trying to maintain the position but Amarth is very close to passing his half guard. Amarth is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so CONDOR is just riding it out for now. Amarth eventually gives up the hold. Amarth seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
