The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Phil Schofield and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edkins tries to clinch but Duncan moves out of range.
Duncan throws a right hand that Edkins ducks under and follows up with a left that Edkins also avoids with ease.
Edkins moves out of range of the strikes.
Edkins gets tackled into the cage by Duncan. Duncan maintains the clinch.
Duncan displaying some good clinch control by pressing Edkins up against the cage.
Edkins managing to block the knees to the body from Duncan.
Edkins gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Edkins looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Duncan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Duncan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Edkins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
