Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aubrey Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Aronwich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Aubrey Peterson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Lee Aronwich ! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peterson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Aronwich ! Aronwich tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Peterson controlling from the full mount. Aronwich keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Peterson controlling from the full mount. The referee warns Aronwich that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Aronwich can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Aronwich has hold of Peterson's hands but Peterson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Peterson prevents Aronwich from improving his position. Peterson not doing much here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Peterson working over Aronwich with some ground and pound. Aronwich looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Well, if Peterson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Peterson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Aronwich looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Peterson is figuring out what he wants to do next. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aronwich is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peterson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Aronwich for as long as he can get away with.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Aronwich gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Peterson to score an easy takedown into full guard. Aronwich is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Peterson dives into side control.

Aubrey Peterson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Peterson is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aronwich struggling a bit here. Peterson controls the position. Peterson decides to take the fight back to the feet. Aronwich closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Peterson's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Peterson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Peterson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Peterson with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Aronwich is trying to maintain the position but Peterson is very close to passing his half guard. Peterson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Aronwich can do to turn this around?
