Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Felix Parks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bob The! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Parks misses with a head kick.

Parks tries to bum rush The with a series of wild strikes but The uses good footwork to avoid the assault. The is looking for the big counter here. Parks defends well against a solid takedown attempt from The. The rushes Parks and presses him up against the cage. Parks blocks an elbow strike. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The slowing the pace effectively. The is struggling to control the position. Parks pulls guard.

Parks is looking to clinch but The is avoiding it.
Bob The seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The misses with a wild combination.
Parks tries to counter by moving into the clinch but The manages to circle out of the way. The moves into the clinch successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parks is trying to pull guard but The turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Parks is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that The can do to turn this around? Parks postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. This could be all over! Wait, no, The rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Parks's guard! Nice work there by The! Felix Parks overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The wants to control from the top but Parks keeps moving. Parks has control of The's left arm, preventing The from doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parks lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Parks postures up.
The is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Parks throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as The works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Bob The has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Felix Parks is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The working for submissions but it's allowed Parks to get to half guard.
