Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Wooten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lucas Wooten looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy shoots and misses
and Wooten counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Murphy has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Wooten tries to close the distance and clinch but Murphy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Murphy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wooten's waist but Wooten gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Murphy off to one side.
Murphy rushes Wooten and presses him up against the cage.
Murphy manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Wooten has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Murphy is proving hard to escape from.

Wooten is looking to stand up but Murphy won't let him.

Lucas Wooten has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Murphy.
Wooten will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Murphy fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Wooten avoids it really well and circles away.
Dan Murphy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooten fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Murphy, pushing him back against the cage.

Wooten jumps into guard, dragging Murphy to the mat.
Murphy must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Murphy wants to get up but he can't break Wooten's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Murphy is sitting in close to Wooten's body. Wooten has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Murphy is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Murphy is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Wooten.
