The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elkins takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Pappas closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Elkins tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Pappas breaks the clinch.
Pappas scores with a kick to the body.
Elkins throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Elkins misses with a double jab.
Elkins ducks under a wild hook from Pappas.
Pappas cracks Elkins with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Pappas has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Elkins to stand back up!
Elkins is rocked!
It looks like Cody Elkins has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Elkins is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Elkins dodges the punch combination from Pappas.
Pappas drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Elkins right on the button. Elkins goes down! Pappas follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Pappas gets the win via TKO!
