Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Paul Best (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Demon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul Best! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jacob Demon! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jonathan Paton and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Best clinches. Best is trying to break free. Best breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Demon shoots in and gets a takedown into Best's guard. Demon decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Demon drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Best is looking to stand back up but Demon counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Best. Best blocking the ground and pound attempt from Demon. Best wants to get back to full guard but Demon has passed into side control. Best being controlled for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Demon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Best keeps working. Demon looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Best can't do much from the bottom here. Best manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Demon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Best keeps working. Best wants to get back to full guard but Demon has mounted him! Best is trying to escape the mount.
Best knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Demon on the ground. Demon controlling the pace for now. Demon can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Best is looking to escape. Demon landing punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Demon moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Best has worked his arm free - good work by Best!
Best tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Demon presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Demon trying to control but he's not successful this time. Demon controlling the pace for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Demon trying to control but Best is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Demon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Demon tries to control but Best wriggling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jacob Demon dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Demon gets a clinch. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Demon just misses with a elbow thrown towards Best's brow. Best breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Demon shoots in and bounces Best off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Best looking for a sweep. Not yet Best, not yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Demon lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Demon trying to control but Best is working from the bottom. Best is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Demon stands up from guard. Let's bang! Demon fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Best sprawls well initially but Demon persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Demon wants to control but Best is keeping him busy. Demon is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Best is rocked! Demon wants to stand up but Best has a hold of him and won't allow it. Oh Best is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Demon wants to work for an arm triangle but Best is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Best wants to control but Demon is keeping busy.
Demon scoring with strikes to the body and head. Demon has been the more effective fighter overall so far. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Demon lands a nice short elbow. Demon working the head and body with strikes. Demon is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Best sees it coming and defends easily. Demon lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Best quite badly. Best pulls Demon in close trying to recover. Demon postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Best on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Best doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jacob Demon!
