Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Migel Tores (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Truelies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Migel Tores!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bob Truelies!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Truelies gets a clinch.

Truelies has hold of one of Tores's legs. Tores is fighting the takedown attempt but Truelies gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Tores has his foot on Truelies's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Truelies works his way back into a safe position though.
Truelies trying to control the position from guard on top but Tores is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Truelies trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tores is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Truelies wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tores keeps working.
Truelies tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Truelies tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Truelies has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Truelies has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Truelies shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Truelies was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Truelies wants to control the pace but Tores is squirming around nicely.
Truelies breaks from Tores's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Tores is wriggling around trying to escape.
Truelies can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tores is looking to escape.
Truelies lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Truelies is landing with some decent strikes but Tores is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Truelies shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Tores manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Truelies stands up and waves to Tores to follow him.

Truelies fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tores sprawls well initially but Truelies persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Tores is looking for a sweep. Truelies is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Truelies is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Truelies is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tores is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Truelies decides to stand back up.

Truelies fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Tores to the ground. Truelies is now in Tores's guard.
Tores is wriggling around but Truelies manages to pass to half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Truelies is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Tores will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Truelies trying to control the position from guard on top but Tores is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Truelies might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Tores haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Truelies throws a big elbow that misses.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Truelies passes Tores's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Tores is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Tores is defending against the submission attempts here by Truelies.

Truelies stands up from half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bob Truelies showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Tores has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Truelies off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Truelies gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Truelies tries to score a body lock takedown but Tores shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Migel Tores has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Truelies.
Truelies keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Tores's efforts to push away.
Tores is trying to break the clinch but Truelies is controlling him.

and Tores counters with a huge right that knocks Truelies out cold! Tores is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
