These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frankenfurter swinging wildly here.
Frankenfurter misses with a shot to the body
and Lanes counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Lemmy Frankenfurter has been cut.
Lemmy Frankenfurter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lanes tries to clinch there but Frankenfurter circles away.
Frankenfurter lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Frankenfurter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lanes circles away quickly and effectively.
Lanes clinches with his opponent.
Frankenfurter has Lanes pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Frankenfurter pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Lanes tumbling to the mat - Frankenfurter dives into Lanes's guard.
Lanes is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frankenfurter lands a couple of digs.
Lanes is trying to control the position but Frankenfurter postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lanes has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Frankenfurter should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Lanes has tightened it up now! Frankenfurter should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
