Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Juan Sharp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Louis Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juan Sharp! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Louis Armstrong! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Daniel Cesar and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sharp fails with a takedown attempt. Armstrong clinches. Armstrong trying to land knees to the body.
Sharp breaks the clinch.
Armstrong closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Armstrong is trying to push Sharp away but Sharp has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Sharp breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Armstrong throws a nice inside leg kick. Armstrong fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sharp, pushing him back against the cage. Sharp manages to break the clinch.
Armstrong moves into range and clinches up with Sharp.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sharp is trying to break the clinch but Armstrong has him pressed against the cage. Sharp lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Louis Armstrong has been cut. Sharp working hard to break the clinch. Sharp looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Armstrong lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Armstrong is trying to control the action in half guard but Sharp is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Sharp is trying to stand back up but Armstrong is controlling him
Sharp is staying active underneath Armstrong, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Sharp is controlling Armstrong's position as best he can from this difficult position. Armstrong trying to advance position but Sharp counters by regaining guard. Sharp really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sharp is pulling down on Armstrong's head to control his posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Armstrong tries to free his leg and advance position but Sharp is retaining full guard. Sharp looking to hit a scissor sweep but Armstrong is one step ahead there. Armstrong trying to control but Sharp is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Armstrong closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Armstrong is looking to take a break and control but Sharp is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Armstrong stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Armstrong misses with a few strikes there.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Armstrong enables Sharp to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Armstrong manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Armstrong is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Sharp breaks the clinch.
Armstrong changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sharp looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Armstrong wants to control but Sharp is keeping him busy. Sharp wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sharp holding on. You can see the frustration on Sharp's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Sharp is looking to reverse the position. Armstrong working the strikes but Sharp uses the opportunity to regain half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Armstrong connects with a nice short shot to Sharp's temple. Sharp won't allow Armstrong to pass to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Louis Armstrong dominated that round. The cut man is working on Louis Armstrong's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Sharp ducks under a wild hook from Armstrong. Sharp tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Armstrong manages to circle out of the way. Sharp drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
It looks like Juan Sharp has been cut. A punch combination from Armstrong misses. Sharp walks straight into a right hand from Armstrong - that's dropped him! Armstrong jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Sharp from any more punishment! Sharp complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Louis Armstrong!
