Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Renan Barao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edwin MacCain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barao displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from MacCain.

Barao is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and MacCain defends well.
MacCain makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

MacCain wants to control from the top but Barao keeps moving.
MacCain distracts Barao with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Barao throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! MacCain escapes and throws Barao's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Oh Barao is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

MacCain is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Barao has escaped the position, nice work there.

MacCain tries for a kimura but Barao is defending well.
A big shot lands for MacCain! That's hurt Barao! Will he recover? MacCain fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
