Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Albert Fish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luana Peroba Filgueiras (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Albert Fish!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 27 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Luana Peroba Filgueiras!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fish thows a body kick. Filgueiras tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Fish stuffs the takedown.
Filgueiras has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Fish.
Filgueiras shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fish as he avoids it easily.
Filgueiras swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Fish counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Filgueiras closes the distance looking to clinch
and Fish cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Filgueiras displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Fish cracks Filgueiras with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Fish misses with a two punch combination.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fish connects with a solid leg kick.
Fish ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Filgueiras on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Fish. Fish obviously looking to wear him down.
Fish stuns Filgueiras with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Filgueiras drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Fish throws a nice outside leg kick.

Filgueiras closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fish did well to prevent Filgueiras getting side control.
Fish gets back to full guard.
Fish is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Fish really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fish is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Filgueiras defends it well.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Fish is trying to control. Filgueiras wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Fish is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Filgueiras doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Fish.

Fish is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Filgueiras is just riding it out for now. Fish eventually gives up the hold.
Fish seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Filgueiras does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Filgueiras flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Fish lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Filgueiras shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Fish tries to counter with a takedown but Filgueiras is quick to defend against it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fish is looking to wear down Filgueiras with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Filgueiras shoots in for a takedown but Fish shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Fish is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Filgueiras looks calm but he's in trouble here. Fish gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Filgueiras is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Fish lets go of the hold and Filgueiras can pop his arm back in it's socket.
