Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mohammed Mubarak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Manuel Caolho! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Daniel Cesar and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mubarak avoids a punch combination nicely.
Caolho throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Caolho takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Manuel Caolho has been cut. Mubarak falls off balance throwing a combination
and Caolho counters with a left and a right that hurts Mubarak! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Caolho jumps into full mount!
Mubarak is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mubarak tries to reverse the position but Caolho maintains control. Oh Mubarak is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Mubarak on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mubarak tries to get out of the position. Mubarak is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Mubarak is looking to get to half guard. Mubarak seems to have got his legs back now. Mubarak wants to get back to his feet.
Mubarak really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Mubarak is trying desperately to improve position. Caolho working for a submission but Mubarak is keeping him at bay. Mubarak is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Caolho locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Mubarak is forced to tap!
