Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Toni Valtonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josei Mulq (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Valtonen comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - Thunderstruck . Toni Valtonen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Toni Valtonen ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Josei Mulq! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valtonen closes the distance and pushes Mulq back into the cage. Mulq looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Valtonen tightens his grip and picks Mulq up, before dumping him to the ground. Mulq manages to land in guard. Mulq scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Josei Mulq seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mulq has managed to clinch.
Valtonen tries to score a body lock takedown but Mulq shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Valtonen gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Mulq.
Valtonen pulls guard. Valtonen is pulling down on Mulq's head to control his posture. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mulq is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Valtonen has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Mulq off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Valtonen closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mulq quickly recovers to half guard. Valtonen escapes and gets back to his feet. Valtonen shoots in and bounces Mulq off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Valtonen is in close to Mulq's body, working some short punches and elbows.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Valtonen lands a couple of decent looking shots. Valtonen sitting in guard here, content to control. Valtonen lands a couple of digs. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Valtonen scoring with punches to the head and body. Valtonen landing some decent shots from guard. Valtonen postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Mulq is rocked! Valtonen engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Valtonen distracts Mulq with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Mulq is still in real trouble! Can Valtonen finish him? Valtonen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Valtonen stands up over Mulq, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Valtonen loads up on a big left hand. Mulq felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Valtonen looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Mulq can't hide his disappointment, as Valtonen celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Toni Valtonen ! After winning the bout, Toni Valtonen thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
