Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Appolo Elder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isaac Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. haiti song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Appolo Elder has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Elder enables Jackson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Elder manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Jackson won't allow Elder to sweep him here.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Elder can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jackson controls the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Elder lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Jackson has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Elder off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Elder throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jackson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Elder on his heels. He'll look to pass Elder's guard now, I'm sure.

Jackson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Elder swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Elder is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jackson is aware though and is defending well.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Jackson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Elder changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but Elder manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Jackson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Elder tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jackson is in Elder's guard.

Jackson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Elder has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jackson has managed to get both his arms back between Elder's legs - danger averted.

Well Jackson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
