The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Nowe.
Yamamoto is trying to escape the position but Nowe is controlling the position.

Nowe laying and praying for a moment but Yamamoto takes advantage and regains half guard.
Nowe wants to stand but Yamamoto has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Yamamoto is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Nowe pulls his head out easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Nowe wants to take a breather but Yamamoto is having none of it.

That was a close round but I would say that Jote Nowe will probably get the nod.
