Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rahkim Abdullah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Couture kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Mama said knock you out. Rahkim Abdullah has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Eddie Farnsworth and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture misses with an uppercut. Abdullah saw that one coming.
Abdullah is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
The fighters circle momentarily. Abdullah darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Couture bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Abdullah's head backwards.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Abdullah fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Couture feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Abdullahs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Abdullah tries to score a power double leg takedown but Couture sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Abdullah somewhat.
Abdullah has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Nice uppercut lands for Couture. That snapped Abdullah's head back.
Abdullah throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Couture was covering up waiting for the punch and Abdullah finishes the takedown easily into guard.
