20 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexander Stubb! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
31 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Tony Bullard! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bullard throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Stubb looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Bullard throws a shot from downtown. Stubb moves away and avoids it. Stubb lands a nice hook to Bullard's body. Bullard takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Bullard blocks a jab. Alexander Stubb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stubb uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bullard. Stubb misses with a jab to the body
and Bullard counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Bullard moves away from the strike by Stubb. Stubb scores with a hook to the body. Bullard takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Stubb throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bullard counters with a nice uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bullard staying out of range there. Bullard looks like he wants to counter punch here. Bullard takes one to the chin there. Stubb throws a body punch but Bullard moves out of range. Bullard swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. An attempted straight right counter from Stubb misses the target. Stubb lands a lovely overhand right.
It looks like Tony Bullard has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stubb misses with a right hand and Bullard counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. A shot to the liver by Bullard. Beautiful body shot. Bullard moves out of range as Stubb strikes. Bullard uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stubb. Bullard lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Stubb throws a body punch but Bullard moves out of range. Stubb throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bullard cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Stubb loads up on a big right hand but Bullard slips the punch. Stubb misses with a lunging right hand
and Bullard counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Stubb misses with an uppercut
and Bullard counters with a stiff right hand. Stubb takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Stubb connects with a crisp jab. This has been an exciting period of action! Stubb swings and misses with a shot to the body letting Bullard counter with a right hand.

Stubb throws an overhand right that lands on Bullard's shoulder, as Bullard tries to avoid the shot. Bullard misses with an uppercut. Stubb saw that one coming. Stubb tests Bullard's chin there with a solid looking shot. A jab from Stubb misses. Stubb cracks Bullard with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Stubb throws a lazy uppercut
and Bullard counters with a left to the body. Stubb throws a left and a right that both miss
and Stubb takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Stubb rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bullard counters with a stiff right hand. Bullard is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stubb throws a looping overhand right but Bullard ducks down to avoid it. Bullard's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Stubb connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bullard scrambles back to his feet. Some wild striking there from Stubb.
Stubb throws out a loose jab but Bullard uses good head movement to avoid it. Stubb misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Bullard counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Stubb swings and misses with a hook to the body.

enabling Bullard to counter with a crisp jab.
Stubb is rocked! Stubb with a body punch. A glancing blow. Oh Stubb is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Bullard throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stubb sees it coming and avoids it easily. Stubb swings widly with a right hand
and Bullard counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Stubb to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Bullard!
