Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ali Sarraf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leandro Mori Aguero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ali Sarraf has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Dmitry Maklakov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sarraf lands a leg kick that knocks Aguero off balance momentarily.
Sarraf uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Aguero.
Sarraf looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Aguero closes the distance and clinches up with Sarraf, looking for a takedown. Aguero pushes Sarraf against the cage but Sarraf circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
An attempted straight right counter from Sarraf misses the target.
Aguero with a poor takedown
and Sarraf counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Aguero is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Sarraf connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Sarraf jabbing away but nothing is landing.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Aguero is defended easily by Sarraf.
Ali Sarraf has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leandro Mori Aguero.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aguero shoots in looking for a takedown. Sarraf tries to sprawl out of it but Aguero keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sarraf manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Aguero stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sarraf.
Sarraf misses with a few strikes there.
Aguero shoots in for a double leg but Sarraf sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Sarraf swings for the body but Aguero moves out of range.
Aguero drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Sarraf defends it well.

Aguero on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Sarraf moves into range and connects with a jab.
Aguero looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sarraf looks to throw the jab but Aguero is out of range.
Aguero takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Sarraf cracks Aguero with a right hand to the side of the head.
Sarraf jabs Aguero to the body, keeping him at a distance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Aguero shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Sarraf makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Leandro Mori Aguero seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sarraf tests Aguero's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A swing and a miss from Aguero.
Aguero closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Aguero tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Aguero thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Aguero tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Aguero has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sarraf tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Aguero is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sarraf knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aguero tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Aguero has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Sarraf connects with a leg kick. Aguero looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Sarraf throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Sarraf looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Aguero drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Aguero seems to have locked his on tight now - Sarraf screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Aguero, as he picks up the win!
