Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alec Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zephaniah Judah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes to the cage accompanied by Drowning Pool- Let The Bodies Hit The Floor. Zephaniah Judah has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Alec Johnson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alec Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zephaniah Judah! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson on the wrong end of a nice hook. Judah lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Johnson at a distance.
Johnson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Judah. Judah connects with a body shot that sends Johnson's belly button to the back. Nice jab there from Judah. Johnson shoots in for a takedown but Judah shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Johnson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Johnson sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Judah defending well though. Judah is not content to let Johnson control the position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Johnson stops Judah from getting back to his feet.
Johnson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Judah keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson is working for an americana but Judah has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Johnson was thinking about the submission. Johnson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Johnson's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Johnson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Johnson is working hard here to advance position. Judah has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Johnson trying to control the position from guard on top but Judah is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Johnson is in close to Judah's body, working some short punches and elbows. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Judah is looking to stand up but Johnson isn't so interested in that idea. Johnson trying to control the position from guard on top but Judah is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Johnson tries for a takedown but Judah circles away easily and Judah counters with a right hand to the body. Johnson pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Johnson throws a jab but it's blocked by Judah. Judah swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Judah missing with a left hand there. Johnson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Judah digs a good body shot into Johnson's ribs. A lazy left from Judah finds it's target. Judah thuds a left hand into Johnson's body. Judah tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Johnson was well out of range. Poor timing from Judah. Johnson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Judah sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Johnson somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alec Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Judah uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Johnson. Johnson throws an off balance right hand
and Judah counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Judah clobbers Johnson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Johnson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. It seemed like Judah was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Judah lands with a big left! Johnson is wobbled badly! Judah comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Johnson to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Zephaniah Judah! A relieved looking Zephaniah Judah thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. Alec Johnson was interviewed post fight and said 'sorry all'.
