Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikaiah Rynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Jonathon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rynn throws a leg kick that is checked
and Jonathon counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Rynn tries to kick Jonathon off in order to stand up. Jonathon Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Rynn is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Jonathon is working Rynn over with some ground and pound from side control.
Rynn is trying to control Jonathon's posture but Jonathon avoids it.
Rynn is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Jonathon is looking for a kimura but Rynn is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jonathon to get the leverage.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jonathon lands a nice short elbow.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Jonathon working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Rynn had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jonathon defends it easily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
