Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Loon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Thomas Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis with a poor takedown
and Loon counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lewis has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Lewis misses the body punch
and Loon counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Loon keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Loon tries to pull guard but Lewis won't allow it.
Loon pulls Lewis into guard.
Lewis preventing the sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Loon is looking to cinch up a triangle. Lewis throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Loon's body to avoid the submission. Loon has instead reached around Lewis's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Loon arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Kyle Loon!
