The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Itasaki thows a body kick. Smir tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Itasaki - that will leave a mark!
Smir connects with a right hand. Itasaki shakes it off.
Frank Smir seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smir looks to land a combination but Itasaki avoids it well.
Itasaki thinks about countering with a body kick.
Itasaki moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Itasaki lands a head kick. Smir smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Frank Smir has been cut.
Itasaki displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Smir throws out the jab.
As Smir backs away, Itasaki returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Smir chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Itasaki can pounce on him.
Smir's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Smir duly obliges.
Smir looks winded!

Itasaki lands a big head kick that sends Smir tumbling to the mat! Itasaki takes a step backwards and waves Smir back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Smir is rocked!
Itasaki keeps Smir at a distance using the push kick.
Smir is still on wobbly legs! Can Itasaki finish him?
Itasaki throws a head kick that misses.
Itasaki moves into the clinch.
Smir takes an elbow to the forehead.
Itasaki connects with a knee right up the middle! Smir tumbles to the floor and Itasaki stands over him, dominant and satisfied with his glorious KO victory!
