Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colin Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viksu Varis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith shoots in and drives through. Varis sprawls well.
A leg kick checked by Varis.
Smith lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Viksu Varis has been cut.
Varis throws a jab when Smith was well out of range.
A bone on bone clash there as Varis blocks the leg kick.
Varis showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Smith.
Nice uppercut there from Smith.
Smith wants to clinch.

Varis tries to clinch there but Smith circles away.
Smith does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Smith throws a right hand that Varis ducks under and follows up with a left that Varis also avoids with ease.

Varis throws a low kick but it's checked well by Smith.

Smith tries to bum rush Varis with a series of wild strikes but Varis uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Smith makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Smith moves out of range of the body kick from Varis.

Varis manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Smith manages to get himself to full guard.

Smith is pushing Varis's head away, looking to escape. Varis manages to hold on to the position though.
Smith bucks up and tries to throw Varis off but instead Varis has got his back!
Smith breaks Varis's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Smith lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Varis sprawling to the canvas. Smith follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Varis hang on?
Smith tries to stand and escape but Varis is controlling the position.

Smith seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Varis closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Smith misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Varis keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Varis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Smith does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Smith wants to get back to his feet.
Smith lands with a few short shots to the body.
Smith tries to kick Varis off but Varis keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Varis wants to free his trapped foot but Smith is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Smith pushes Varis off looking to stand but Varis dives back in and keeps control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Smith swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Smith changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Varis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Varis gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Varis clinches up against the cage.
Smith breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Smith rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Varis moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Varis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Smith as he jumps to the side.
Varis is looking to clinch.
Varis slips a jab and a cross from Smith.
Varis drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Smith can't keep his opponent in guard - Varis advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Smith is looking to get back to is feet but Varis passes into side control.
Smith knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Varis on the ground.
Smith sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Smith kicks off Varis and gets to his feet.
A jab-cross combination lands for Smith and sends Varis crashing to the mat! Smith follows him down to the mat - Varis regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smith tries to stand and escape but Varis actually recovers to full guard.

Varis is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Smith tries to free his leg and advance position but Varis is retaining full guard.
Smith stands and steps away. Varis gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Smith drops Varis with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Varis looks back up at him and smiles so Smith waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Varis is rocked!
That has opened up Viksu Varis's cut even more.
Smith connects with a stiff jab that staggers Varis - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
