Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seth Shannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hanes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hanes has chosen Can't Hold Us as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Seth Shannon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Hanes! The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hanes lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Shannon backs up against the cage.
Shannon shoots in for a takedown but Hanes shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Hanes falls off balance throwing a combination
and Shannon counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Shannon. Hanes managing to control the position. Shannon gets to his feet. Hanes looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Hanes throws a one two combo.
Hanes clinches up against the cage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hanes jumps guard but Shannon turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Hanes working hard to break the clinch. Hanes pulls Shannon into guard.
Shannon stands up from guard. Let's bang! Hanes fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Shannon is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Hanes. Hanes misses with a few strikes there.
Hanes fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Shannon, pushing him back against the cage. Shannon really is a fat lump. Shannon lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hanes working hard to break the clinch. Shannon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hanes swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hanes looks to land a combination but Shannon avoids it well. Hanes throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Shannon has a takedown stuffed. Hanes lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Seth Shannon has been cut. Hanes misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Shannon tried to counter with a leg kick but Hanes avoided it. Hanes keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Seth Shannon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hanes misses with a combination
and Shannon moves into the clinch. Hanes jumps into guard, dragging Shannon to the mat.
Hanes wants to sweep but no luck.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shannon thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Shannon sitting in guard, not really doing much. Hanes is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Hanes wants to get back to his feet but Shannon is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Shannon stands up from guard. Let's bang! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hanes displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Shannon. Hanes throws a combination that misses and Shannon counters by moving into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shannon struggles to land a body shot inside as Hanes controls his hands.
Hanes wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Shannon has him pressed against the cage. Hanes prevents a body shot from Shannon. Hanes jumps guard but Shannon stands there with Hanes around his waist. Hanes gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Hanes rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shannon moves out of range and avoids them all easily. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Hanes throws a series of punches but Shannon avoids them all with ease. Hanes rushes Shannon and presses him up against the cage. Hanes can't break the clinch.

Hanes tries to break free but Shannon pushes him back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Come on Shannon - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Shannon decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shannon keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Hanes kicks Shannon off and gets back to his feet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Shannon shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hanes manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Hanes is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Shannon is controlling him. Shannon is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Shannon wants to control from the top but Hanes keeps moving. Shannon won't allow Hanes to get back to his feet. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Hanes is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mike Hanes seems to be getting the better of the standup. Hanes throws a series of punches but Shannon moves out of range. Shannon quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Hanes moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Hanes lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Seth Shannon has scored more points in the clinch so far. Shannon's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Shannon keeps control of Hanes as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Hanes manages to pull guard.
Shannon is fighting to break Hanes's control of his arms but Hanes is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Shannon looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Shannon stands up and waves to Hanes to follow him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Hanes showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Seth Shannon's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Shannon slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Hanes is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Hanes lands with a short head shot on the inside. Hanes scores with a shot to the side of Shannon's head. Hanes tries to break free but Shannon pushes him back against the cage. Shannon breaks from the clinch.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Shannon. Shannon looks for a takedown but Hanes sprawls well. Hanes throws a right and a left that both miss. Shannon fails with a takedown attempt. Hanes rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shannon moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hanes works over Shannon's head and body with a nice combination. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hanes has had enough of the clinch but Shannon keeps him there for the moment. Come on Shannon - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Mike Hanes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Shannon shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hanes manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Seth Shannon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mike Hanes is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Hanes working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Shannon.
And that's the end of the fight! Mike Hanes comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Hanes winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
