Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stuart Mouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devon Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Devon Lewis! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lewis scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Mouse controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mouse's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Lewis is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Mouse has managed to free his arm - good work. Mouse is holding on to half guard well. Mouse is trying to stand back up but Lewis is controlling him
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mouse has his hands clasped together around Lewis's back. He's all about the action. Lewis takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Mouse is trying to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lewis not doing much here.
Mouse on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mouse tries to get out of the position. Mouse trying to control from the bottom.
Mouse is looking for a sweep. Lewis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Lewis seems to be working for a kimura but Mouse defends the submission attempt. Mouse is positioning himself well to prevent Lewis advancing to mount. Lewis drops an elbow to the side of Mouse's head. Lewis perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Mouse is controlling Lewis's position as best he can from this difficult position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. The fighters are battling for position here. Mouse manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Mouse pulls Lewis in close to his closed guard and prevents Lewis from doing any damage or advancing position. Lewis wants to stand but Mouse has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Mouse wants to get back to his feet but Lewis is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Lewis tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mouse was well out of range. Poor timing from Lewis. Mouse tries to counter with a takedown but Lewis is quick to defend against it. Lewis drives through with a takedown into Mouse's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Lewis stops Mouse from standing up. Mouse bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lewis's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mouse wants to pass the guard but Lewis is keeping the position. Mouse slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Lewis tries to buck Mouse off but Mouse is having none of it. Mouse really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lewis looks winded! Mouse is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lewis is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Mouse misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Mouse will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Mouse looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Mouse is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lewis knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mouse is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lewis has escaped the position, nice work there. Mouse trying to control the action but Lewis is working from the bottom. Mouse throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Lewis works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mouse is working for a kimura but Lewis is defending it quite comfortably.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Stuart Mouse will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Mouse closes the distance and clinches up with Lewis, looking for a takedown. Mouse pushes Lewis against the cage but Lewis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Lewis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mouse. Mouse changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Devon Lewis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lewis misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Mouse appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Lewis looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mouse is fending him off so far but Lewis persists. Nope, Mouse circles away and we're back to standing. Lewis throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
so Mouse counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mouse thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Mouse cracks Lewis with a solid left hand. Mouse postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Lewis is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mouse stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lewis swivels though and keeps the full guard. Mouse slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Lewis is trying to control Mouse's posture but Mouse avoids it. Mouse wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lewis keeps working. Lewis is trying to escape the position but Mouse is controlling the position. Mouse is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lewis knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Mouse staying calm.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Mouse throwing strikes but missing, from side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lewis tries to buck Mouse off but Mouse is having none of it. Mouse in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Lewis is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Stuart Mouse!
