Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Rain! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Blast! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blast changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rain tries to avoid it but Blast manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rain to the ground. Rain escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Rain throws a series of strikes that have Blast backpedaling.
Rain misses with a jab, cross combination.
Blast throws a right and a left that Rain avoids nicely. Blast moves in looking to clinch but Rain pushes him off. Rain swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rain takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Blast avoids a punch combination nicely.
Blast slips a jab and a cross from Rain.
Rain showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Blast.
Rain will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Blast is looking to clinch but Rain is avoiding it.
Blast moves out of range of the strikes. Rain with a jab. A nice combination there by Rain.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rain misses with a jab, cross combination.
Blast tries to clinch up. Rain misses with a straight left. Rain throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Blast counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Johnny Rain has been cut. Blast fails to land with a series of punches.
Blast lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Rain can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Blast and Rain drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Blast.
