Houston's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Born of a Broken Man. Austin Houston has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Austin Houston! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wam Mam! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Houston shoots in for a double leg but Mam sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Houston fails with the takedown. Houston clinches with his opponent.
Houston managing to block the knees to the body from Mam.
Mam is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Houston works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Houston missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Houston wants to pass the guard but Mam is keeping the position. Houston preventing the sweep. Houston is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Houston stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mam swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Houston with a flurry of punches that miss. Mam looking to control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Houston shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Houston throwing shots but Mam is blocking nicely. Houston works his foot free and advances to mount. Houston wants to finish this one by submission but Mam is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Houston.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mam tries to hold on but Houston postures up. Mam slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Mam is looking for a sweep. Houston is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Houston is working for a submission of some sort.
Mam wants to control but Houston is keeping busy and won't allow it. Houston is looking for a kimura here.
Houston wants to free his trapped foot but Mam is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Houston seems to be looking for submissions.
Houston is breathing heavily. Houston trying to advance position but Mam counters by regaining guard. Houston trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Houston looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Austin Houston. That's going to take a lot out of him. Houston closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Mam gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Houston prevents Mam from improving his position. Mam is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Houston is looking for a kimura here.
Houston is working for a kimura but Mam is defending it quite comfortably.
Mam avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Houston. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Austin Houston dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Houston moves in looking to clinch but Mam pushes him off. Houston wants to clinch. Houston misses with the combination.

Mam tries to avoid it but Houston manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mam to the ground. Mam escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Houston drives through and clinches with Mam against the cage.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Houston tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Mam can't break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Houston jumps into guard, dragging Mam to the mat.

Houston has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mam can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mam looking to pass the guard. Mam would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Houston throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Houston keeping moving, preventing Mam from controlling successfully. Houston has his feet on Mam's thighs here. He's pushed Mam off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Mam screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
