Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Armen Aharonian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James LaBrie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aharonian misses with a wild body shot.
LaBrie is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Aharonian with a body shot.
LaBrie works Aharonian's body with a nice hook.
Aharonian pulls out of a head kick attempt.
LaBrie connects with a body shot.
LaBrie misses with a looping right.
Aharonian moves away from the strike by LaBrie.
Aharonian misses with a two punch combination.
Aharonian throws a quick inside leg kick.
LaBrie comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from LaBrie. Aharonian does a little dance to reset his feet.
LaBrie throws a hook but Aharonian blocks it.
LaBrie swings for the body but Aharonian moves out of range.
Aharonian works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
LaBrie walks forward, straight into a front kick from Aharonian.
We've been informed that LaBrie has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sloppy strikes from LaBrie. Those never looked like landing.
LaBrie is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Aharonian rather than just go for the knockout.
Aharonian connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

LaBrie misses with a body shot
and Aharonian counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Aharonian moves out of range as LaBrie strikes.
LaBrie misses with an uppercut
and Aharonian scores with a counter punch that sends LaBrie to the canvas! Aharonian smells blood - he's punishing LaBrie with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! LaBrie has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
