Rui Rodrigo Germano is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Paul Stampfer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rui Rodrigo Germano!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Germano tries to keep at a distance but Stampfer has taken the fight into the clinch.
Stampfer's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Stampfer breaks from the clinch.
Stampfer ducks under a wild hook from Germano.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Germano.
Germano takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Nice defenses there by Stampfer.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Stampfer throws an overhand right that lands on Germano's shoulder, as Germano tries to avoid the shot.
Stampfer uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Germano.
Germano throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stampfer.

Stampfer closes the distance and clinches.
Germano tries to throw a body punch but Stampfer avoids it by throwing Germano back against the cage.
Germano is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Stampfer is defending well.
Germano looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A body shot lands from Germano.

Stampfer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stampfer walks into a left hand.
Stampfer connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Stampfer tries to move into range but Germano moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Germano gets caught flat footed, as Stampfer shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Germano keeping moving, preventing Stampfer from controlling successfully.
Germano has momentary wrist control but Stampfer slips an elbow through the middle.

Germano has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stampfer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Stampfer trying to control the position from guard on top but Germano is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Germano is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Stampfer frees his head nicely. Oh but Germano has switched to an armbar! Stampfer is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
