Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McConor thuds his right hand into McElroy's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
McElroy takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
McElroy fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown attempt by McElroy or perhaps it was just good defense by McConor, which made it look bad.

and McElroy decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in McConor's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. McElroy connects with a nice short shot to McConor's temple.

McConor has hold of McElroy's hands but McElroy slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
McElroy winds up and cracks McConor with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

McElroy shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McConor but McConor pushes him off and we're back to square one.
