Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jackie Douthit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Pappas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackie Douthit has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jackie Douthit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tom Pappas!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Douthit drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Pappas keeping moving, preventing Douthit from controlling successfully.

After the fight, Jackie Douthit was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
