Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pat Sumrall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarkko Hakulinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hakulinen has chosen Last of the Mohicans Theme as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sumrall misses with a wild body shot.
Hakulinen fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hakulinen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sumrall pinned against the cage. Sumrall gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sumrall keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Pat Sumrall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jarkko Hakulinen.
Sumrall throws the kick towards the body but Hakulinen avoids it.

Hakulinen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sumrall is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hakulinen, into his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sumrall decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hakulinen, up you get!

Sumrall swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sumrall fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hakulinen manages to avoid it.

Hakulinen has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Sumrall avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Sumrall doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Hakulinen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sumrall is fending him off so far but Hakulinen persists. Nope, Sumrall circles away and we're back to standing.
Sumrall loads up on a big right hand but Hakulinen slips the punch.

Sumrall slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Sumrall throws a half hearted mid kick.
Sumrall throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hakulinen stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hakulinen shoots for a takedown but Sumrall saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hakulinen takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Sumrall throws a nice looking combination but Hakulinen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Hakulinen scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hakulinen is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sumrall defends it well.
Sumrall wants to get back to his feet.
