The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fink lands with an overhand left.
Hett clinches.

Hett thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Fink if he has to take too many more of those.
Fink rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hett moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Hett throws a hook but Fink blocks it.

Hett throws a right hand that Fink ducks under and follows up with a left that Fink also avoids with ease.
Fink shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hett eats them both and turns towards Fink to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Fink wants to clinch up but Hett keeps it at a distance.

Fink is breathing heavily.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hett forces Fink back against the cage and clinches.
Hett pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Fink tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hett manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Fink misses with a wild body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fink. Hett does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fink blocks a head kick by Hett.
Fink connects with a single shot there.
Hett throws a head kick that misses.
Hett takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Aaron Fink will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Hett has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Fink scores with a one two! Hett had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Hett is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Let's hope that Hett has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Fink trying to keep a closed guard but Hett is proving a slippery customer.
Hett wants to get up but he can't break Fink's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Hett wants to control from the top but Fink keeps moving.

Fink is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Hett has his hands clasped together but Fink extends and breaks Hett's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Fink.
