Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tony Paulik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hussein Stahl!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stahl throws a head kick but Paulik moves out of range.
An attempted straight right counter from Paulik misses the target.
Stahl connects with the punch.
Paulik tries to land a front kick but Stahl steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Stahl tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Paulik fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Stahl, pushing him back against the cage.
Paulik swings wildly with an uppercut but Stahl uses good head movement to avoid it.
A short right from Stahl on the inside.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Paulik creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Paulik fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Paulik throws a punch but it's blocked by Stahl.
Stahl blocking some punches.
Stahl tries to score a body lock takedown but Paulik shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Stahl lands a hook to the side of the head.
Paulik tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Stahl trying to land knees to the body.
Stahl tries for a takedown but Paulik manages to get underhooks.
Stahl blocking some punches.
Paulik tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Stahl's elbow.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stahl wants a takedown.
Tony Paulik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hussein Stahl.
Paulik tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Paulik working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Paulik prevents a takedown attempt there.
Paulik misses with some punches.
Stahl looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Stahl looking for a takedown.
Stahl blocking some punches.
Paulik swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Stahl is looking for a takedown.
Stahl tries to score a body lock takedown but Paulik shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Paulik throws a head punch that misses.
Paulik pushes Stahl back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Stahl has picked Paulik up - he's going for a ride! Stahl dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Stahl seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Paulik does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Paulik tries to kick Stahl off but Stahl keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Stahl wants to pass to mount but Paulik is defending the position.
Paulik on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Paulik tries to get out of the position.
Stahl seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Stahl looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Stahl passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Paulik!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Paulik is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Stahl has isolated one of Paulik's arms. Paulik looking to fight him off but Stahl twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!

An out of breath Hussein Stahl thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
