Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gavin Buckley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kik Down (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kik Down will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gavin Buckley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kik Down! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buckley closes the distance and clinches. Buckley really is a fat lump. Down escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Buckley manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Buckley might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Buckley wants to improve his position but Down is controlling well.

Down is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Down is looking to stand up but Buckley won't let him.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Down is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Buckley is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Down defends it well. Down works his way to full guard. Good work. Buckley content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Buckley won't allow Down to sweep him here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Down trying to control the position.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Buckley is on top in guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Buckley jumps guard but Down turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Down tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Buckley wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Buckley scores with punches from side control. Buckley working away. Buckley is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Down knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Buckley tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
