The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pezzulla tries to close the distance and clinch but McGee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

We've been hearing reports that McGee has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

McGee wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pezzulla throws a wild hook but McGee just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Pezzulla gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - McGee raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
